Our alumni association took the initiative to fund and oversee the creation of the tennis court at the school. A Bhoomi Poojan ceremony was held on 10th September 2002, marking the official start of the project. The event was attended by the then esteemed Principal, Mrs. Kusum Ahluwalia, along with other key figures from the school community.
The tennis courts have since become a significant asset to the school, with students actively making use of the facilities. Their continued engagement and the talent that has emerged from the programme have already proven the success of this initiative. We take immense pride in seeing many promising tennis players develop, and our efforts have undoubtedly paid off in ways that will continue to benefit the school for years to come.
In addition to this, we launched a project to enhance the greenery surrounding the school, known as Vanasthali, aimed at expanding the green space outside the school’s boundaries. This project was part of our ongoing commitment to not only improve the facilities but also contribute to the environmental wellbeing of the area.
The entire project, from logistical planning to financial management, was carefully coordinated by the alumni association. Their efforts were instrumental in bringing this vision to life, ensuring that all the necessary arrangements were made seamlessly.
