Honourees at the Maiden Accolades 2022
Distinguished Alumni Award
In 2022, we proudly introduced the prestigious “Distinguished Alumni Award” as part of our ongoing effort to recognise the exceptional achievements and contributions of our alumni. The awards were designed to facilitate former students who have made a significant impact in their respective fields. This was created with the consensus and collective input of our dedicated committee members, ensuring that the selection process is transparent and fair. The number of awardees chosen each year is determined through thoughtful discussion and agreement, as well as with consideration for logistical requirements.
At the inaugural “Accolades” event, held in a spirit of celebration and recognition, Dr. Parveen Bhatia (1977 Science Batch) and Mr. Pradeep Kumar (1979 Science) were presented with the coveted award mementos. The esteemed Prof. N. K. Uberoi had the honour of presenting the awards in a moving ceremony, attended by Mrs. Arora, Principal Mrs. Hemal H. Bhat, other distinguished dignitaries, and the core members of the Alumni Association. This event was a landmark in our ongoing efforts to celebrate the success of our alumni and their continued contributions to society. In future as well we wish to continue with our innovative ideas to recognise and reward the worthy. The Chief Guest was Mr Biswajit Saha, Director, Training and Skill Education, CBSE under Ministry of Education, Govt. Of India.
